Australian Musical Theatre Festival | 2023–Present

Executive Producer
Working alongside the Board and Artistic Director to grow audiences, strengthen partnerships, secure government investment and build long-term sustainability.
Achievements
- Led strategic planning and governance for a five-day festival comprising more than 30 events across ten venues, partnering with the Board to strengthen organisational strategy, governance and risk management.
- Partnered with the Artistic Director to develop an integrated artistic program and organisational strategy that increased ticket sales by 125%, unique attendance by 55% and community participation.
- Secured more than $230,000 in new government and philanthropic and funding while tripling annual charitable donations.
- Led multidisciplinary teams of more than 100 staff, contractors, volunteers, artists and venue partners to deliver the festival safely and successfully.
- Managed procurement, contracts and grant acquittals while developing strategic partnerships with government, community and cultural organisations to support festival growth and sustainability.
- Ensured acknowledgement of the Palawa people of lutruwita/Tasmania as Traditional Owners and sought opportunities to centre First Peoples artists and stories within festival programming.
- Used audience, stakeholder and financial evaluation to inform future programming, organisational planning and continuous improvement.
The House of Dancing Water | 2018–2020

Artistic Manager
Senior operational leader providing executive oversight of the artistic delivery of one of the world’s largest resident theatrical productions, overseeing workforce management, administration, budgets and operational planning for a division of more than 130 performers and support staff delivering over 400 performances annually.
Achievements
- Partnered with the Artistic Director to maintain artistic excellence across more than 400 annual performances while balancing workforce planning, performer wellbeing and operational delivery.
- Oversaw workforce management, HR, and administration for a division of 130+ staff, including mentoring, coaching, and performance management to develop staff capabilities.
- Directed the complex artist-replacement strategy required to maintain a performer headcount of 90+.
- Oversaw procurement and budget control across artistic, operational and production services within a HK$20 million operating budget.
- Led negotiations with the parent casino to ensure the annual show schedule met performer safety requirements.
- Drove mental health initiatives to better support staff from broad cultural backgrounds living in a second language environment and away from their support networks.
New Zealand Opera | 2013–2016

Company Manager
Managed operational delivery of New Zealand’s national opera company, coordinating touring productions, artistic operations, workforce planning and financial management across multiple national productions.
Achievements
- Led the operational planning and delivery of national touring productions.
- Managed procurement, contract administration and vendor relationships that supported national touring productions with annual travel expenditure exceeding NZ$1 million.
- Led workforce logistics supporting more than 1,000 annual staff movements across national touring productions.
- Worked with development team to review and evaluate supplier tenders and service agreements.
Short+Sweet Auckland | 2008–2011
